Will I pay more if I book through an agent?

Probably so. Our fees are transparent. In many cases, you save more than you spend. We can work within your budget, and we always focus on making sure that you get a solid value in return for our fees.

Do you book group travel?

Yes! Do you have an upcoming excursion, tour/event for your business or a student trip? We can handle the details and ensure that you have access to group seating, entrances, and discounts for everything from food and beverages, to ground transportation. We handle your luggage on request and have customer service added values that you will find with no other service.

A Word About the Weather

We'll make sure you have a good time, but the weather is another matter.

Infrequently, but it happens: we have to either cancel or reschedule a trip due to weather.

Safety First!

We don't storm chase and we don't storm race. Your lives and ours are far more valuable than a missed opportunity to go sailing.

Life vests are available on board, of course, but if you prefer your own or expect we won't have your size you are welcome to bring your own.

Rest assured that if Snagg Tours cancels a trip due to weather, it's for good reason and you will get a full refund if the trip cannot be rescheduled.

What to Pack for Sun & Rain

Despite the warm weather, there is always a chance of rain or your clothing getting wet during a trip. We highly suggest you pack the following in addition to everything else:

  • a light, but long sleeved shirt to protect you from the sun (keep in mind that when you're out at sea, the temperature is less obvious)
  • closed shoes: closed
  • open shoes: foot protective features with slip-resistant soles, particularly if you're diabetic
  • a hat that doesn't easily blow away
  • rain gear, if your trip will have you out more than a day
  • sun screen
  • back pack/tote with a plastic bag/liner, or a waterproof exterior

After a Distant Storm: Same Beach, Different Water

September 23, 2017: Although Hurricane Irma never actually reached the shores of Carriacou or Grenada. Yet and still, the turbulent waters prevented us from sailing...on our anniversary, by the way. We were supposed to be returning to where we had our first date. The look on Cutty's face says it all.

September 25, 2017:  It was as if it never happened.
